Crosspoint RFID Readers

XM3 MICROPROXS™ is a stand-alone
proximity reader/controller which can function as a single door access control solution but can also be easily connected in a RS485 network. In an RS485 network the XM3's continue to function stand-alone and can be setup and maintained using the XM3 Manage PC software. On-board memory and internal clock allows users and events to be stored locally and printed on demand. The XM3 may also be connected to 3rd party systems using ABA magnetic stripe, Wiegand or RS 485

The administrator card sets are pre-printed with the +, -, P and Night signs. With these special cards, cards can be added, voided, programmed and the Night timer can be set for increased security level. Prints can be customized upon demand.

XM3 Evaluation Kit

EPSYS offers Cross Point XM3 evaluation and demonstration kits at special rates. There are various XM3 evaluation kits that include most accessories necessary for a thorough evaluation. These kits allow you to experience what the XM3 MICROPROXS™ could mean for your business. There is also an evaluation kit available for the XM3 Range Extender, and the XM3 Display Unit.

Proximity tags are based on tags passive RFID technology

Cross Point proximity tags are based on passive 125 kHz RFID technology. When the tag is held within read range of a Cross Point proximity reader, it identifies itself by transmitting its unique precoded ID number. This technique ensures easy use, high reliability and vandal proof operation.

EPSYS supplies a wide range of Cross Point tags with different RFID chip technologies. Cards can be supplied with or without magnetic stripes (2750 Oe or 4000 Oe), with or without laser engraved numbers.
